Forty-five years after the reunification in 1975, generations of soldiers and people in Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province, have steadfastly stayed on the islands and continue to work on the sea. Their sacrifice and efforts have brought about a new look for Truong Sa archipelago and breathed a new life into the islands.
A series of the most popular wartime diaries written by 30 martyrs and soldiers has been released by the Writers' Association Publishing House on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Reunification Day (April 30).
Soldiers serving on Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago have continuously stayed disciplined and ready for action while enjoying a peaceful daily-life activities.
