Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has requested consistently pursuing the policy of safely, flexibly adapting to and effectively controlling COVID-19 pandemic.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 5 presided over the Government’s April meeting, which was the first meeting of the Cabinet after it completed the personnel work last month.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked Government members to adopt measures to push economic growth forward in the first half of this year and perform the three key tasks of carrying out the resolution adopted by the 13th National Party Congress, fighting COVID-19, and preparing for the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

Vietnam is giving priority to developing the domestic market as the risk of COVID-19 gradually falls, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Quoc Phuong said at a press conference after the regular Government meeting on May 5.

Hosting the recent summit between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the United States of America (USA) was a big success for Vietnam, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said while chairing a regular government meeting in Hanoi on March 1.

“We will fail without innovation,” Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said in concluding the regular Government meeting on November 3.
