A wide range of ways to preserve Champa architecture were discussed at a
conference on the application of advanced technologies in preserving
Champa relics in Quang Nam province on June 29.
Howard Limbert, Head of a group of scientists from the UK, said
they will open a large-scale search effort for new caves in Vietnam’s
central province of Quang Binh.
The French-Vietnamese Conference on Innovation in Construction (CIGOS
2015) took place at the French ENS Cachan University on May 11 and 12,
drawing many scientists and experts from the two countries.
Scientists from domestic universities and Japan’s Tohuku University made
practical proposals to prevent erosion along Cua Dai beach in central
Quang Nam province’s Hoi An city at a workshop on May 12.
The second group of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations
(ASEAN) science fellowships was announced by the ASEAN Committee on
Science and Technology on May 4.
