The Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh will need about 280 billion VND (12.32 million USD) to move approximately 700 households from erosion-prone areas to safe places from 2018 – 2020.

The southern Binh Thuan province's authorities and experts from the Central Natural Disaster Prevention Department are working out measures to cope with coastal landslides caused by sea erosion.
