The low-cost airline Vietjet will cooperate with relevant authorities to operate four flights on August 13 and August 14, 2020 to bring passengers stranded in the central city of Da Nang back to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnamese representative agencies in foreign countries are closely coordinating with international airlines and local authorities to ensure health care as well as essential supplies for Vietnamese stranded at international airports abroad, spokeswoman of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang said.
Thai Airways International (THAI) has started to fly out some 4,000 stranded passengers to European destinations whose flights were canceled due to sudden closure of Pakistani airspace as a result of the ongoing tension between Pakistan and India.
