Provinces nationwide are offering assistance to students during the three-day national high school examination which kicked off on June 25.

The Military Institute of Traditional Medicine in conjunction with the Border Guard Command of the northern mountainous province of Lang Son provided free medical consultations and medicines for needy people in Xuat Le and Mau Son communes of Cao Loc district.

The northern province of Lai Chau has carried out a number of programmes to support disadvantaged people, especially those from border and ethnic minority areas.

“We are making efforts to give ethnic minority students bigger scholarships so they can cover living expense, study well and become good citizens,” said President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund.
