Vietnam has posted a trade surplus of 9.8 billion USD in the first five months of the year, with export revenue standing at over 136 billion USD and import revenue at more than 126 billion USD, according to the General Statistics Office.
Vietnam’s export-import value in the first four months of this year was estimated at 210.79 billion USD, down 13.6% year-on-year, with trade in surplus by 6.35 billion USD, the General Statistics Office has reported.
Vietnam’s import-export turnover reached 46.56 billion USD in the first month of 2023, down 25% year on year. However, the country still enjoyed a trade surplus of 3.6 billion USD in the month.
