The Government has issued a decree to update provisions of the Labour Code relating to wages.

Bui Sy Loi, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Committee on Social Affairs spoke to Vietnam Economic Times about changes to the 2012 Labour Code.

New policies on compulsory social insurance, region-based minimum wages and multidimensional poverty standards are among those that take effect in January 2016.
