The northern port city of Hai Phong on May 13 launched a new tourism product named “Hai Phong – Free Walking” as an effort to fulfil its set target of welcoming 7.5 million visitors this year.

Vietravel Airlines has become the official airline partner for the upcoming 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) following an agreement signed between the carrier and the organisers on May 5.

The Friends of Vietnam Heritage (FVH) will host a walking tour to discover the Ba Dinh area and the ‘French Colonial Quarter’ on April 20.

Hanoi’s culture has been the main inspiration for tour operators to develop services to lure more visitors to the capital city, according to the municipal Department of Tourism.

The Hanoi Free Walking Tour, which helps tourists to the capital city explore local life free of charge, will be launched in October.

A walking tour will give participants the chance to discover the Ba Dinh area and the nearby French Colonial Quarter on September 17.

The Friends of Vietnam Heritage (FVH) will host a city walk for those looking to explore Ba Dinh and the “French Colonial Quarter” on December 18.
