A 2019 study has showed “bright spots” on the issue related violence against women in Vietnam, especially young women who are now raising a stronger voice against violence compared to a decade ago.
Young women aged less than 25 and men suffering from breast cancer has become not uncommon in Vietnam, said Dr Tran Nguyen Ha of the Ho Chi City Oncology Hospital.
Experts from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Vietnam and developed countries shared their experience in youth development policies at a conference in Hanoi on March 2.
