Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation Nguyen Ngoc Luong has met Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba’s Central Committee and head of its Ideological Department, in Havana.
President Ho Chi Minh, when he was still alive, always trusted the youth, and paid special attention to youth work as well as to intensifying the Party’s leadership over youth work and youth union activities.
A seminar was held in the northern province of Bac Ninh on October 9 to discuss the role of Vietnamese and Lao youth in maintaining and promoting the great friendship and solidarity between the two nations.
The Prime Minister on February 16 signed a directive on continuing the Vietnamese youth development strategy for 2011-2020, and a relevant government resolution issued on September 11, 2009.
