The central city of Da Nang will host the final round of the futsal tournament – the Larue Cup, at the Eastern Bank Stadium on June 29-30.
Sixteen teams that qualified from provincial and city qualifying rounds will compete in a knock-out final round for the trophy and a cash-prize of 100 million VND (4,800 USD).
The second place is worth 50 million VND (2,400 USD), while the third-placed team will get 30 million VND (1,400 USD).
The Larue Cup, which held its first competition in 2008, is the biggest amateur futsal tournament in Vietnam.
"The cup is also an opportunity for scouts and coaches from the national teams who are searching for young talent in amateur tournaments like this," said the head of the organising committee, Nguyen Phuc Linh.
"The tournament brings us an exciting football festival, with all the skilful players taking part."
Linh said that the Kim Toan Team from Ho Chi Minh City would unveil their all-student squad of stars in the final round.
Nguyen Van Hoang Lam, the tournaments sponsor, said the organising committee has handed out a total of 1 billion VND (48,000 USD) amongst all the participating teams
