Jakarta (VNA) – Tens of people were injured after a train derailed inBogor district of Indonesia’s West Java province on March 10 morning.
Local authorities said they are counting the exact number of injured people inthe train.
According to police, the incident took place at 10:30 a.m when the train enroute from Jakarta to Bogor district arrived in Kebon Pedes station.
Meanwhile, transport ministry spokesperson Hengky Setiawan quoted somewitnesses as saying that the incident occurred after a power pole collapsed andhit the train.
However, an investigation is underway to find out the exact cause of theaccident, he said.-VNA
