Army Chief Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha made his firm stance that there willnot be a coup d’etat by the military and urged all parties to find apeaceful resolution to the current political deadlock facing the nation.

He added that staging another military coup willnot solve anything but further tarnish Thailand ’s image in theinternational community.

The same day, the CriminalCourt turned down the police's request to approve arrest warrant against13 People's Democratic Reform Committee's leaders for treason.

The court explained that the political situation will improvefollowing Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawtra’s decision to dissolve theHouse of Representatives.-VNA
