The U18 International Tennis Federation (ITF) Group 5 concluded on July 13 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho after eight days of competition.
Thai player Navasi Ri Somoon J took the crown in men singles after defeating HSU Jeffrey from Taiwan 2-0 (6-3, 6-3).
Another Thai player, Junkeaw N, also bagged the trophy in women singles.
In men doubles, a coalition of Indonesian and Indian tennis players beat a Thai duo in the final match to take the title.
Meanwhile, Thai pair Junkeaw Chatmanee and Juneaw Napawee showed excellent performance and become the champions in women doubles.
The winners will be awarded with ITF points in lieu of prize money. Champion of a single event will get 30 points, and double event 20 points.
Hosted by the Vietnam Tennis Federation, the tournament attracted more than 100 tennis players aged from 16 to 18 years from various countries and territories around the world.-VNA
