Hanoi (VNA) – Thailand defeated Singapore 3-0 in the final Group B match of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 25.
The result meant that Singapore finished third in the five-team Group B with six points from four games, winning twice (1-0 against Indonesia and 6-1 against Timor-Leste), and losing twice (0-1 against the Philippines and 0-3 against Thailand).
The Thais entered the semi-finals as Group B winners, followed by the Philippines, who drew 0-0 with Indonesia on November 25.
The semi-finals will take place on December 1-2 and December 5-6.
Two-time defending champions Thailand play Group A runners-up Malaysia while Group A winners Vietnam take on the Philippines.-VNA
