The ISA was imposed from March 23-30 for Bangkok and its surrounding provinces of Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan.
Under the new decision, the ISA will continue to be imposed for thewhole area of Bangkok , two districts in Nonthaburi and five otherdistricts in Samut Prakan.
Also on March 30, the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship(UDD), known as the ‘red shirts,’ rejected Prime Minister AbhisitVejjajiva’s proposal for a negotiation on April 1.
PM Abhisit and UDD leaders failed to reach results after two talksstarting on March 28. The red shirts persisted in demanding that the PMdisband the Lower House within 15 days and described it as the solesolution for the current crisis in Thailand./.
