“Thailand Happiness Street Festival” to open in late July

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is scheduled to kick off the Thailand Happiness Street Festival at Bangkok later this month to refresh the image of Thai tourism.

TAT Governor ThawatchaiAranyik revealed that a budget of 10 million THB will be spent on theevent, which will take place from July 25-26.

It isanticipated that the two-day festival will attract around 200,000visitors, generating a cash flow of over 200 million THB.

TheTAT has also set high hopes for a return of confidence among foreigntourists as a result of this event, with the number of arrivals in thefourth quarter of this year increasing from the estimate of 7 million to7.8 million.

The street festival will be divided into twozones. The first is called “Happiness Music”, where concerts will beperformed by well-known artists, and the second is called “ HappinessStreet ” featuring Thai-style parades as well as sales of productsranging from clothing and food to celebrity products.-VNA

Cambodia, Malaysia pledge increased trade, investment cooperation

The General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) reported that Cambodia-Malaysia trade totaled 1.07 billion USD from January to August 2026, up 55.5% from the same period last year.
