Thailand has stepped into another cold snap as temperatures in the northern part of Thailand dropped 6-8 degrees Celsius.
The country’s Meteorological Department has announced that a high pressure coming from China has blanketed the upper part of Thailand , beginning on the night of January 18 and will last until January 23.
The department has also warned seafarers and small vessel operators along the Gulf of Thailand to stay ashore during January 19-22, saying waves could be as high as 2-3 metres during the period.-VNA
