President of the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) of Thailand Pornpetch Wichitcholchai on August 19 announced that NLA will elect a caretaker Prime Minister on August 21.
Before the election, NLA legislators will vote on electoral principles, according to the NLA President.
After elected, the new caretaker Prime Minister would select a 35-member cabinet, which is expected to start operating from September.-VNA
