Thailand has once again won the snow sculpture competition in China , making it the 5th consecutive win for the country.
Secretary-General the Office of Vocational Education Commission Chaipreuk Sereerak announced that Thailand has won the top prize at the 6th International Collegiate Snow Sculpture Contest 2014, which was held during January 4-7 at Harbin , China .
The event, themed “Inspiration Snow Dream”, drew the participation of 61 teams from 13 countries completing their snow sculptures within three days under temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius.
Saraburi Vocational College won first prize with their work titled “Wonder of Thailand” that showcased the allure of Thailand . The winning snow sculpture included beautiful Thai art, temples, mythical creatures, and even tuk tuks, which are very well-known among those who have visited the country.-VNA
