The initiative is under a master plan to develop the province’s trade sector through 2015 with a vision 2030.
Theprovince also strives to attract 16 supermarket projects with totalinvestment capital of about 570 billion VND (27 million USD).
An additional 13 commercial centres and supermarket projects will be constructed by 2030.
DeputyChairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho said theprovince aims to improve the sector’s competitiveness to develop an“open” urban system.
The plan is expected to bolster localsocio-economic development by increasing consumption of domesticagricultural products and goods.
The facilities will include Vingroup, Pham Van Dong, An Hoa, Thuy Xuan and Kim Long commercial centres.-VNA
