Tokyo firms seek business opportunities in Ha Nam

He made the pledge after briefing eight members of the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) about Ha Nam’s business incentives at a working session on July 15.

Southeast Asia is a key destination, with Vietnam as the top, Koyama Kduji from the TCCI said.
Tokyo Braze, a welding company, revealed its plan to open a plant in Vietnam and transfer its technology to local partners.

Tokyo Byora, meanwhile, pushed for stronger trade with potential Vietnamese screw producers.

Yasahiite said the firm hopes to recruit more Vietnamese nurses caring for the elderly in Japan. Each year, the company employs about 6,000 – 10,000 for this work.

Other firms working in agriculture, health care and packaging also spoke highly of local investment climate.-VNA
