Trafficker of 10,000 drug pills arrested in Dien Bien

Dien Bien (VNA) – Border guards of thenorthwestern province of Dien Bien on January 15 arrested a man for trafficking10,000 synthetic drug pills.

The trafficker, born in 1997, from theneighbouring province of Son La was caught red-handed while riding a motorbikeand carrying a backpack with 50 small bags of pink pills in Muong Loi communeof Dien Bien district.

He said he had received the drugs from anotherresiding in the same village as his in Luong Leo commune of Son La’s Sop Copdistrict, and planned to sell them in Dien Bien.
