TV series on Korean business

A series entitled The Real Dream, featuring 20 enterprises of the Republic of Korea (RoK) in Vietnam , is being aired at 4.45pm every Saturday on Hanoi Television's Channel 1 through December.

The programme is offering viewers vivid images of the operations of the businesses and their charitable activities across the country.

The first episode, broadcast on September 10, introduced Doosan Heavy Industries, which has invested in the central province of Quang Ngai . The remaining episodes will focus on other enterprises such as steelmaker Posco, Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics and restaurant operator Lotteria.

Companies from the RoK have 2,800 projects in Vietnam worth a total of 23.4 billion USD and providing jobs for over 500,000 local people. Over the past three years, the enterprises have collectively donated 8.2 million USD for scholarships, building homes for the poor, and aiding flood victims./.
