Vietnam’s U-15 football team defeated Japan’s U-15 Vissel Kobe FC 3-0 on the first day of the Japan-Mekong U-15 Football Exchange 2015 on July 1, which is currently taking place at the J Green Sakai Centre in Japan.
According to the Vietnam Federation of Football, Captain Nguyen Hong Son, Pham Dinh Long and Vu Dinh Hai scored the three goals.
The Vietnamese boys bagged another victory against Cambodia in their second match that day, gaining three more points. This means the Vietnamese team might make it to the finals.
The Japan-Mekong U-15 Football Exchange 2015 is held annually for Japanese U-15 teams as well as teams from all over the Mekong region. This year, the friendship tournament sees the participation of eight teams, namely Japan, Vissel Kobe FC, Sanfrencce Hiroshima FC, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam .
