A nine-member delegation of the Institute of Global Engagement (IGE) headed by its president, Dr. Chris Seiple, arrived in Vietnam on December 2.
At the working session, the standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO), Tran Dac Loi, introduced updated information of all fields on Vietnam to the delegation, such as ensuring human rights and religious liberty, Vietnam’s foreign policies and relations between Vietnam and the U.S.
He also focused on the activities of VUFO and the Vietnam-U.S Association in further enhancing relations between Vietnam and foreign countries, including the U.S.
On this occasion, the delegation will visit Phat Diem church, Bai Dinh pagoda and some historical monuments in the northern provinces of Ninh Binh and Dien Bien./.
