Vietnamese swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien has been voted the No 1 athlete at the NASA Junior National Championship Cup held in Florida, the US.
Vien, an invited athlete, won four gold and two silver medals in the girls' 17-18-year-old group.
Coach Dang Anh Tuan said the tournament was a test to review Vien's training after her two-month work here.
He said Vien has developed a good momentum that might help her win at the Incheon 17th Asian Games this September.
The Can Tho province-born athlete will next compete in the Arena Grand Prix at Charlotte, North Carolina, in May and the Nanjing Youth Olympics in China in August.-VNA
