The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on July 2 said it will implement the Branded Fares Matrix as part of its efforts to catch up with the modern global airline sector.

The Branded Fares Matrix is the bundling of rights and interests of customers such as ticket return and change, service upgrade, flight change, assigned seats and priority check-in and screening, among others.

The bundling services will make it easier for customers to book tickets most suitable for their needs and budget.

Under the model, there will be Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class, with Flex, Classic and Lite fares. 

Vietnam Airlines said that as part of the group price, the firm will deploy new system management surcharge for low price group (Classic and Life) and cut all surcharges of tickets issuing service for customers when they buy online tickets as of July 5.
