A photo exhibition on the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and France, a section displaying Nhan Dan (People) the daily newspaper of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Vietnamese culinary specialities were introduced at the Festival of Humanity in Paris from September 13-15.
The annual festival is a gathering place of French communists and left-wing organisations in the world.
The Vietnamese stand drew great attention from visitors by its traditional handicrafts and a photo exhibition on 40 years of Vietnam – France diplomatic relations.
Speaking at the opening the stand, editorial board member of Nhan Dan newspaper To Vuong said the friendship between the two Communist parties and peoples have been continuously developed.
He expressed his belief in the bright future and the historic role of Communist parties and the working class in the building of a fair and wealthy world.
Vietnamese Ambassador to France Duong Chi Dung hoped that Vietnamese and French communist parties will promote their contribution to the bilateral cooperation development.
For her part, Lydia Samarbakhsh, head of the PCF’s International Relations Commission, said she believes that the friendship and cooperation between the two parties and peoples will strongly develop in the future.-VNA
