Attendees focused their discussion on topics related to public sector initiatives in the digital age; role of supreme audit bodies in building and developing sustainable public sector; fighting violations, corruption and organized financial crimes; and financial reporting, public financial management and implementation of international auditing accounting standards.

Talking to the Vietnam News Agency’s correspondents, Deputy Director of the State Audit Nguyen Tuan Anh said the Vietnamese delegation’s participation at the event aims to contribute ideas on coordination between the ACCA and Vietnam to further enhance the role of its activities in Vietnam.

The conference helps increase support of the ACCA for the Ministry of Finance and the State Audit of Vietnam in the coming time, especially helping Vietnam learn more about auditing activities of countries in the world, he stressed.
