Vietnam, Cambodia radios sign cooperation agreement

The Radio Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Cambodia’s state broadcaster National Radio Kampuchea (RNK) signed an agreement on cooperation for the 2013-2016 period in Phnom Penh September 24.
The Radio Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Cambodia’s state broadcaster National Radio Kampuchea (RNK) signed an agreement on cooperation for the 2013-2016 period in Phnom Penh September 24.

Under the agreement, inked by VOV General Director Nguyen Dang Tien and his RNK counterpart Tan Yan, the two sides will increase the broadcast of news, reports and programmes featuring each country’s experiences, political, socio-economic and cultural achievements, aiming to promote each other’s cause of national defence and construction, contributing to strengthening the sound friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides will exchange and air music, artistic and special programmes during important occasions of each nation, while sending officials and reporters to learn each other’s expertise.

Besides, VOV will help RNK study, survey and plan to develop network to expand its coverage to Cambodia’s entire territory.

During his working visit to Cambodia from September 20-25, VOV General Director was also received by Cambodian Minister of Information Khieu Khaharith.-VNA
