Vietnamese enterprises did not dump wind turbine towers on the USmarket, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Thanh Nghi on Feb. 9.

In reply to questions raised by reporters about Vietnam ’s reactionto the US Department of Commerce’s decision to investigate allegeddumping of this Vietnamese product, the spokesman said the decision wasgroundless and did not reflect the real situation of the manufacturingand trading of these products in Vienam.

The decision wentagainst US commitments made during the 19 th Asia-Pacific EconomicCooperation (APEC) summit in the US in November 2011 to promotegreen growth and facilitate international trade.

Nghicalled on the US Department of Commerce to handle this issuein an objective, fair manner in line with the spirit of trade liberalisation,multilateral commitments and the good economic and trade relationsbetween Vietnam and the US./.
