Vietnam drop two places in FIFA rankings

Vietnam have dropped two places to world No. 99 in the FIFA rankings released in September.

Hanoi (VNS/VNA) — Vietnam have dropped two places to worldNo. 99 in the FIFA rankings releasedin September.
The dropwas due to the national squad’s goalless draw against Thailand inthe World Cup qualifier held in Thailand on September 5.
However, Vietnam maintained their top spot inSoutheast Asia.
Thailand are 15 places below at 114th in the world.
Elsewhere, thePhilippines dropped to the 127th place in the rankings while Singapore rose five spots to the 157th place.
In Asia, Vietnam rank 16th with 1,231 points while Iran lead with 1,522 points,followed by Japan with 1,490 and the Republic of Korea with 1,470.
Meanwhile, Belgium topthe world rankings with 1,752 points. France and Brazil are second andthird.
The FIFA rankingswill be next updated on October 24./.

The relics will be open for public worship and veneration at Hanoi-based Quan Su Pagoda from 6 am to 9 pm from May 14-16. They will then be transferred to Tam Chuc Pagoda in the northern province of Ha Nam from May 17-21, before being returned to India.
