Vietnam reached the final of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Beach Football Championship after beating Laos 3-2 in the semi-final on October 28.
Bui Tran Tuan Anh scored a hat trick for Vietnam in the match.
Anh is currently the top scorer of the event, which is being organised in Kuantan, Pahang Darulmakmur, Malaysia.
In the final being played on October 30, Vietnam will meet Malaysia, who beat Thailand in the other semi-final match. Laos will play Thailand for the third place.
Eight teams, including the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and invited team Felda Malaysia played to qualify for the Asian Championships, which will be organised by the Asian Football Confederation in April next year.
The top two teams at the AFF championship will also qualify for the Asian Championships.-VNA
