Vietnam facilitates Thai group’s investment

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam will create the best conditions for Thailand’s SCG Group to carry out investment projects in the country as scheduled, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung said.

At a meeting with President and CEO of the group Roogrote Rangsiyo Path in Hanoi on July 6, the Deputy PM said Vietnam welcomes foreign investors and hopes they will pay special heed to labour safety and environmental protection.

Roogrote Rangsiyo Path said his group is actively implementing its oil refinery project in Vietnam.

He said he hopes the Vietnamese Government and relevant agencies will support the group’s investment activities in the coming time.-VNA
