How to reinforce national financial supervision through policies and technology initiatives will be the major content of the Vietnam Finance 2013 (VF2013) conference scheduled for August 27 in Hanoi.
The information was revealed by Dang Duc Mai, Director of the Department of Financial Statistics and Informatics under the Ministry of Finance, at a press conference in Hanoi on August 12.
VF2013 will provide a panorama of the country’s current situation of financial supervision and plans to develop a consolidated financial monitoring system to ensure the stably-performing financial sector fosters economic development, Mai said.
It will also introduce new policies, initiatives and advanced technologies to be used in financial supervision.
During the event, delegates will examine ways to enhance macro-economic and financial supervision capabilities and promote the application of information technology in the public finance sector.
Along with the conference, an exhibition in the field will be also held.-VNA
