Vietnam shipped some 2.64 billion USD worth of rice abroad in the first nine months of this year, according to the General Statistics Office.
Vietnam gains 2.3 billion USD from rice exports in H1
Vietnam's rice export value rose 34.7% year-on-year to 2.3 billion USD in the first six months of this year. Rice export volume was estimated at 4.27 million tonnes, up 22.2% over the same period last year.

Vietnam’s rice export price grew 9.2% year on year to 532 USD per tonne in the first quarter of 2023, raising the export value of 1.79 million tonnes exported during the period by 30.2% to 952 million USD, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
