A training course for 30 Lao culture and arts managers was opened in Luang Prabang on April 5 jointly by Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Laos’s Ministry of Culture and Information.

Vilaythong Sithanon, Director of Laos Culture and Information Institute, said that the five-day course will help the trainees from eight Northern Lao provinces learn from Vietnamese experiences and apply their new skills in their own localities, thus serving the public better and contributing to the special relationship between both countries./.
