Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly László Kövér is paying an official visit to Vietnam from October 18–22 at the invitation of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man. The visit not only reflects the mutual respect between the two nations but also reaffirms the strong commitment of their leaders to deepen the Vietnam–Hungary Comprehensive Partnership, making bilateral ties increasingly substantive and effective.

At the invitation of State President Luong Cuong, President of Hungary Sulyok Tamas and his spouse pay visit Vietnam officially from May 27 to 29, 2025. This is the first visit by a Hungarian Head of State in 11 years, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Nguyen Thi Bich Thao has received Director of Eurasia Centre under Hungary’s John von Neumann University, Dr. Levente Horvath, who expressed his hope that the Eurasia Magazine run by the centre can report more information on Vietnam’s reform and development achievements.
