A conference on telecommunication and mobile devices was organised by the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam on May 28, bringing together six leading Israeli corporations and Vietnamese firms active in the industry.
Speaking at the conference, Israeli Ambassador Meirav Eilon Sahar appreciated the event as a forum for entrepreneurs and investors to discuss the opportunities and challenges they faced and identify solutions to help the industry move towards sustainable development.
Vietnam is keen to boost bilateral cooperation on telecommunication and information technology with a view to expanding markets and improving the quality and security of service, Le Thi Ngoc Mo, Deputy Head of the Telecom Department under the Ministry of Information and Communications, said.
She stressed that Vietnam would open its doors to Israeli firms to conduct market research and seek partnership opportunities.
At the event, the representatives of AIO System, Allot Communication, Fibrolan, Vidmind, One Smart Star and CommuniTake introduced their latest advanced solutions in information and communications technology to the Vietnamese participants.-VNA
