Representatives of the Hanoi and HCM Stock Exchanges and the Lao Securities Exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen future cooperation between the three exchanges in Vientiane on May 10.
The signing ceremony witnessed the participation of Secretary General of the Lao Securities and Exchange Commission Vatthana Dalaloi, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Xuan Ha, and the Envoy at the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos Luong Quoc Huy.
The document marks a crucial advance in the two nations’ financial services and securities in particular.
Under the MoU, the three exchanges will foster securities cooperation focusing on sharing information, transaction experience, human resource training and information technology.
The MoU also enables both nations to seize potential opportunities in Southeast Asian countries as well as tighten their traditional friendship.-VNA
