The great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos are exemplary in the history of international relations, representing a rare model of strong, loyal, transparent, and effective bond between the two peoples in their fight for independence, freedom, and social progress.
The special relationship between Vietnam and Laos is being continuously nurtured by the two Parties, States and peoples. Based on the two nations’ common goals and with a pure internationalism spirit, the relationship is helping both countries’ revolutions gradually overcome challenges and difficulties.
A ceremony was held recently in the northern Lao province of Xaysomboun to inaugurate and handover four new irrigation systems, which were funded by non-refundable aid from the Vietnamese Government.
