The Writers’ Associations of Vietnam and Laos will continue boosting cooperation and sharing experiences in writing, translating, and training young writers, said President of the Laos Writers’ Association Chanthi Duonsavan.
Talking with a Vietnam News Agency correspondent after a press conference on the third Mekong Literature Award Ceremony, in Vientiane on March 15, Chanthi Duonsavan said that over the past years, the two associations have closely cooperated with each other, especially in organising writing contests on the Vietnam-Laos special friendship.
He expressed thanks for the Vietnam Writers’ Association’s effective assistance and said what the two association have done over the past decades have helped increase mutual understandings between the two peoples, thus fostering the friendship between the two nations./.
