The Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company has just opened a new branch in Cambodia on April 11.
Attending the opening ceremony were Ngo Anh Dung, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia and Nguyen Tan Tuan, Vice Standing Secretary of Khanh Hoa provincial Party’s Committee.
Ambassador Dung said that the inauguration is a meaningful activity in the context of the 2012 Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship and Solidarity Year and the 45 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties, contributing to increasing two way trade.
The Director General of the Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, Le Huu Hoang, said that the new branch is not only a good business opportunity but also a chance to promote Vietnam ’s products and culture in international markets.
The company is one of big economic enterprises in the central province of Khanh Hoa and its products are available in many other countries. It sees Cambodia as a strategic investment market and will step up its business activities there.
The traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia has been developing well in many fields. Two way trade reached 2.8 billion USD in 2011 and is expected to hit 5 billion USD by 2015.
Both Governments are trying their best to promote relations and cooperation in the interests of both peoples.-VNA
