A cooperation agreement was signed by the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) and the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) in Ho Chi Minh City on January 15.
The agreement aims to strengthen and promote the cooperation between the two exchanges and marks a new step of the Vietnam securities market as well as of HOSE on the way towards international integration.
According to the agreement, the two sides will share information, train humane resources, exchange experiences in the management of the securities market, carry out joint research projects and jointly organise symposiums.
Chairman of HOSE Management Board Nguyen Doan Hung said that as the Vietnam securities market is still young, it wishes to learn from PSE’s experiences.
For his part, Hans B.Sicat, chairman of PSE Management Board, lauded the development of the Vietnam securities market and said he believed that the agreement will create new opportunities for the two exchanges./.
