Vietnam won three golds, four silvers and one bronze to be ranked second at the 6th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships which wrapped up in Russia on July 31.
First place went to the Republic of Korea with Russia , Iran and Chinese Taipei joint third.
On the final day of the competition, Nguyen Thi Huyen Dieu won a bronze medal in the women's 31-40 singles age group while the men's U-36 team, consisting of Nguyen Dinh Toan, Le Trung Anh and Le Anh Minh, won the championship title.
Vietnam won an additional gold medal on July 31 thanks to trio Thu Ngan, Tuyet Van and Le Kim who took part in the women's U-36 team category.
The tournament drew 700 athletes from 70 teams around the world./.
