Nguyen Thi Thuy broke her own record set in the 2005 Games in the Philippines in the 200m running category, while H a Thi Hue, Vuong Chau and Thanh Lan set three new ASEAN Para Games records in shotput, discus and javelin throw.
Track-and-field athletes have so far contributed 14 gold medals to the Vietnamese team’s achievements.
