Vietnam jumped one spot to 132nd in the latest February ranking, according to the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA).
Vietnam led in the Southeast Asian region, followed by the Philippines who dropped three spots to 132nd, Myanmar (141st), Thailand (143rd) and Malaysia (154th), as well as Singapore (156th) and Indonesia (158th).
In Asia, thanks to their 2015 Asian Cup win after defeating the Republic of Korea, Australia jumped 37 spots to 63rd. Meanwhile, the RoK also rose 15 spots to 54th. Iran, world No 41, led in the Asian region.
Germany still led the world, and the second and third places go to Argentina and Colombia, respectively.
