The Government Inspectorate met with a delegation from the Republic of Korea’s Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission in Hanoi on May 14 to discuss their joint efforts in combating corruption.
At their meeting, Deputy Chief Inspector Tran Duc Luong gave a briefing on Vietnam ’s experiences when carrying out inspections, dealing with complaints and denunciations and preventing corruption.
The key measures that need to be taken are amending the regulations on land prices and policies on compensation for people who are resettled, as well as providing employment for people whose land has been taken back, he said.
To make the fight against corruption more effective, both parties agreed to step up the exchange of information on the key measures and work together when training up the cadres that are in charge of preventing corruption.-VNA
